Laser Sentinel - Safety Area Scanning
Laser Sentinel, the new innovative solution for safe area scanning, ideal for a large variety of applications in factory automation and intralogistics. New hardware and software measurement filters deliver reliability in the harshest industrial environments. Beyond the basic safety function of delivering a safe stop signal when a person is detected in the area, a number of important features have been implemented. An intuitive Graphic User Interface allows easy programming of the entire system and backup memory makes maintenance quick, without the need to download the program.

SG4-F Safety Light Curtain, the first safety light curtain with integrated OpenSAFETY protocol over a Powerlink network. Matrix 120 - 2D ULTRA COMPACT IMAGER
Matrix 120 is the smallest ultra-compact industrial 2D imager in the market, able to fit any integration space, ideal for OEM customers in Chemical/Biomedical industry and Print & Apply applications, perfect for applications in the Factory Automation, Electronics, Packaging and Food/Beverage. Thanks to its embedded Ethernet and USB connectivity Matrix 120 is the perfect solution when small dimension, simple integration and performance are the key drivers. It is available in different models, including a WVGA sensor for standard applications, 1.2 MP sensor for high resolution bar codes, wide angle version for proximity reading.
Matrix 300N™ is an ultra-compact image based bar code reader, designed for performance on high speed and Direct Part Marking (DPM) applications. It is powered by the new software DL.CODE, offering maximum customer ease-of-use as well as extra features like Code Grading for perfect code quality control, Autotrigger mode for presentation applications, and Smart Autolearn to facilitate the setting up of the most difficult DPM. Matrix 300™ combines a high resolution sensor with ultra-fast image acquisition: 1.3 megapixels, 60 frames per second, featuring a large variety of optical models, with electronic focus control and polarized models making the most flexible solution for manufacturing applications.
DS5100 - Laser Scanner
DS5100 is a flexible and compact laser scanner for industrial applications ideal for manufacturing plants and intralogistics applications, offering excellent reading performance, easy setup with X-PRESS™ interface, high-speed ID-NET™ communication interface and immunity to ambient light. The DS5100 series includes subzero models with operating temperature from -35°C to 50°C using internal heater and de-frost window.
PowerScan 9100 series
The new PowerScan 9100 series continues the tradition of rugged and ergonomic PowerScan readers, built for durability in tough environments, introducing an innovative Datalogic technology: a green laser-like scanning line. The same crisp definition of a laser line is combined with the benefits of a linear imager. The result is outstanding 1D decoding capabilities, high performances on damaged or poorly printed bar codes, and reading capabilities on LCD screens or mobile devices. Impact 11.11: New OCR and Pattern sorting tool 2.0 for machine vision application
The advanced OCR tool is a powerful vision software tool able to read challenging alphanumeric strings printed over labels or directly marked (DPM) into industrial products. This new tool ensures robust and reliable reading of hard-to-read characters under difficult conditions, such us non-uniform background, variable light conditions, and curved surfaces. The new 11.11 IMPACT software release brings new functionalities to the MX-E and MX-U vision processors delivering advanced OCR, an intuitive and easy to use vision tool for challenging OCR applications, and new PST tool capabilities. IMPACT+OCR is the smartest solution for variable data printing inspection in the Food & Beverage industry.
Datalogic is also pleased to announce the next generation Vehicle Mount Computer, Rhino II. Targeted at warehouse and factory forklift applications, in-vehicle applications requiring a rugged computer, and even fixed applications on the factory floor where a rugged and sealed device is mandatory, Rhino II VMC is designed for the ultimate in quality and reliability. The Rhino II vehicle mount computers, available in both 10” and 12” display sizes, set new standards for ruggedness in the warehouse. A sealed design tested to IP65/IP67 ensures operation in the toughest environments. A dedicated freezer-rated model with integrated display heater allows use in and out of cold storage.
