Ford and Henige previously worked as Senior Analysts at Spartan Internet Consulting. The two entrepreneurs started Netvantage Marketing with the mission of helping companies leverage the Internet as a key tactic in their marketing plans. The company’s service offerings include organic/natural search engine optimization, paid search strategy and management, and web analytics consulting.
The staff has a wealth of experience providing Internet marketing consulting to clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 industry leaders. This includes consulting experience for the likes of Gordon Food Service, Golder Associates, Better Homes & Gardens, the National Retail Federation, The Jockey Club Information Systems and Integrys Energy Services.
The company has plans to leverage its relationships with Michigan State University to provide a strong internship program, with a focus on educating students in online marketing, and giving them real world experience. Within the company’s growth plan, these internships will form the basis of a valuable recruiting pipeline to retain talent in the Lansing area. Ford is a former Assistant Director of Admissions for the Eli Broad Graduate School of Management, and Henige is a graduate of the Broad Full-Time MBA Program (2006)
