Politis Communications, a strategic communications agency, today announced the promotion of Russell Page to consultant. Page has been with Politis Communications since January 2003 and has been an account executive with the agency since March 2005.
As a consultant, Page will continue to work primarily with technology-related accounts, including Handheld Entertainment and PC Laptops. Page will also assist in identifying new business opportunities for the agency.
“Page’s promotion is well deserved,” said David Politis, president of Politis Communications. “He has effectively served our clientele by continually offering innovative solutions to match our client’s unique needs, while helping accelerate our growth in new forms of media.”
While working for Politis Communications, Page has generated media coverage for his clients in such media outlets as CNN, New York Times, Live! With Regis and Kelly, Rolling Stone, Teen People, The Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine, among others. He has also planned and implemented press tours, speaking engagements, and trade show appearances, as well as provided overall strategic direction and consulting for his clients.
“Politis Communications’ clients have potential to be huge players in their respective fields,” Page said. “It has been a great opportunity to be able to be a part of the Politis team, and I look forward to assisting our clients with their public relations strategies.”
Prior to joining Politis Communications, Page completed a two-month internship in New York City with the Public Relations Society of America and worked as an editor and reporter for The Daily Universe, student newspaper at Brigham Young University.
Page graduated from BYU with a bachelor’s degree in public relations and a minor in business. In his free time he enjoys golf, camping and blogging, in addition to playing shortstop for the Cubs in the Utah Men’s Senior Baseball League.
