The stretched displays can vary in size (from 6.2 up to 49.5 inch), orientation (landscape/portrait), and length and width relation (from 1:2 up to 1:5). Image compression is an extra feature for these screens to create panoramic images. In addition, the 37.9-inch screen is a high brightness model (1000 cd/LED back light), making it an outstanding display for outdoor retail environments and transportation.
All stretched Tovis screens display only one content stream. However end users can also divide the screen into different areas and combine different content to different parts of the screen. For example, one-third of the screen shows one content stream, and the other two-thirds of the screen shows different content.
The Super Narrow LCD Video Wall has been created with 16, 46-inch screens that can be arranged in configurations ranging from 2 x 1 screens up to 4 x 4 screens. In the largest configuration, the Super Narrow LCD Video Wall creates a 184-inch wide display. The gaps between the screens in the video walls are only 7.3 mm, and this single-view output is possible by adopting narrow bezel technology.
Tovis screens are MPEG, RoHS, PID and Scala compliant. Plus they can be manufactured with touch screen functionality.
