ACT Conferencing, a global provider of corporate audio, web and video conferencing services, is now offering its channel partners the ability to provide video managed services to their customers, enabling simplified accessibility to ACT’s video conferencing services around the globe. ACT is showcasing its video conferencing managed services at CeBIT Australia in booth Q12. The event is being held this week in Sydney.
ACT’s video managed services gives ACT channel customers direct access to an experienced team that oversees all facets of video conferencing — from strategy to infrastructure consulting to implementation of global, multimedia events. ACT will develop customized video conferencing solutions and provide real-time customer service 24x7, relieving channel partners and their clients’ internal staff of technical support duties.
ACT continues to experience a significant increase in the global demand for its video conferencing services. According to a report issued by Frost & Sullivan, the demand for conferencing services is expected to continue for several years. Frost & Sullivan reports that video conferencing in North America alone marked a $182.4 million industry in 2009 and is projected to grow to nearly $600 million by 2016.
“Companies understand the value of video communication but since this service is new to many organizations, the learning curve tends to hinder enterprises from conducting a successful video conferencing experience,” said Paul Vick, director, channel & strategic sales, ACT Conferencing. “With ACT’s video managed services, we eliminate the learning curve so customers can conduct video conferences without having to worry about the setup or technology involved. By passing this service along to our channel partners, they can more easily sell video conferencing services, get customers up and running even faster and, in turn, generate increased revenue quickly.”
ACT is attending CeBIT Australia and will be available to discuss ACT’s channel program and video managed services, among their other offerings.
