The-three day event attended by a record audience double that of any previous conference, helped clients capitalize on emerging opportunities in this current evolving market. The much anticipated event also emphasized convergence and cross-product functionality of BenefitSpan and PowerPlus and sent an industry-wide message that clients have readily embraced the merger between CHT and P + W.

The conference highlight included the unveiling of the newest release of PowerPlus, complete with the entire suite of Benefit Plan Administration capabilities, enhanced reporting with auto-email generation and new debit card integration to the TSYS debit card. Attendees were introduced to the progressive capabilities and revenue rich opportunities that exists within BenefitSpan as well as the peripheral products and services that are instrumental in building a complete CDHC product group.

The theme of the conference “It’s all about…growing CDHC Revenue” included a keynote address on Healthcare Reform by Steve Parente, PHD, an associate professor in the Department of Finance in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota and Dave Randall, Executive Director, CDHC Institute based in Washington, DC. Breakout sessions included client forums and panel discussions on such topics as fee based revenue opportunities and helping consumers navigate the Healthcare System.
“The conference showed attendees how regulatory and legislative changes are affecting organizations in a positive way, making their services even more valuable,” Goel said. “This supported the main goal for the conference: It’s all about growing CDHC revenue.”
Notable highlights included regulatory updates and compliance issues by leading benefits attorney Darcy Hitesman, as well as client forums and panel discussions by Ralph Bernstein and Dan Kelly of U.S. Bank, Trey Jinks of TSYS Healthcare, Wolf Shlagman of Consult A Doctor and Abbie Leibowitz, MD of Health Advocate.
Participation and feedback from attendees validated client support of the recent merger between CHT and P + W. Dave Shull, president of eBenefits Administrators, Inc. called the partnership industry leading. “To me it was just a natural fit if you’re going to deliver a true CDHC solution,” Shull said. “You have got to have that integrated HAS, HRA and FSA capabilities to really take what’s happening in the marketplace.”
